Heat-calculator unit VKT-7

Purpose

Battery unit VKT-7 is intended for metering and recording remote heat consumption monitoring and heating medium parameters in two closed and open water supply systems, each of which may include the following pipelines: supply, return, hot water supply, makeup or drinking water pipelines.

Application field

VKT-7 heat calculation unit is energy-independent, safe in operation and combines advantages of its best analogues. Due to "two units in single frame" concept, heat meters based on VKT-7 are the best solution for heat metering in housing and public utilities sector objects.

In 01 and 02 model ТВ2 contains only one pipeline. 03 and 04 models are measuring temperature: of the hot water supply system, TB1 system, air or cold water. 04P model allows using additional pressure sensor in 3 TB1 pipeline.

  • Metering algorithm control and selection in case items of the formula for calculating total heat consumption of the system are negative;

Recording measurement results indications

VKT-7 heat calculation unit archives 1,152 hourly, 128 daily and 32 monthly records and total indications of measurement results and diagnosis of heat supply parameters.
Current and archive indications are displayed at two-line indicator panel.

Metrologic characteristics

Relative error of indication, up to:

  • Heat energy ± (0.1 + 3/Δt)%;
  • Mass ± 0.1%;
  • Time ± 0.01%.

Absolute error in indication, up to:

  • Temperature difference ± 0.03°С;
  • Temperature ± 0.1°С;
  • Volume ± 1 unit ml of indication order.

Stated pressure indication error doesn't exceed ± 0.25%.
Calibration interval - 4 years.

Connection of sensors

Single-type resistance temperature device: 100P, Pt100, 100М, 500P and Pt500.
Volume transducers with pulse output passive - up to 16 Hz and potential - up to 1,000 Hz.  Pulse value 0.0001 – 10,000 liters.
Excess pressure transducers with signal 4-20 mА.

Interfaces

Information is sent to indicator and external devices (printer, PC, modem) via RS232 or RS485 interface.

Warranty period

Heat calculation unit warranty period - 6 years.
